Mashantucket— On MGM Grand's first full day in business, about 500 yellow-shirted dealers from Foxwoods Resort Casino and other unions used music, placards and flags as rallying calls to broadcast their quest for a Foxwoods union.

NORWICH, CT — "We're hopeful this sets the stage for certification of our union vote at Foxwoods.  Ballys' appeal of the Atlantic City dealer's union vote was fundamentally the same as the objections pending for Foxwoods - management claiming a translated ballot was needed," said Wei-Ching Siu, a part-time table games dealer at Foxwoods.  "We're pleased that the Labor Board agreed: we may speak many languages, but we all know how to say 'Union yes!'."

Labor Board Hearing Concludes Management Coerces Witnesses. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) hearings on management’s objections to our union vote have concluded after seven full days of hearings.  We are confident the company’s allegations will be dismissed and our vote will be certified.  The judge expects to issue his decision by the middle of March.
