Starting Pay |
$4.25/hour or $4.50/hour starting base pay with one game.
Since opening 15 years ago, starting base pay raised by only 50¢. |
Trainee rate — $7.38/hr.
Trainee rate increased each year, during this contract will be increased to $8.31/hr.
New hires with experience dealing start at 80% of the Dealer rate (based on # of games) – at 12 months new hires increased to 90%, at 24 months reach 100%. In addition, new hires receive the 4% annual increase. | |

Maximum pay raise per year is 25¢.
Dealer hourly rate capped @ $8.53. |
Dealer I ― $9.41, increased over the contract to $10.59.
Dealer II ― $9.68, increased over the contract to $10.89.

Raises |
Foxwoods announced 5% pay raises.

Job Security |
Dealers remain part-time for years. Promotion to full-time is arbitrary and decided by Foxwoods management.
Termination for long-term illness and injury. |
Part-timers automatically become full-time and eligible for benefits when they average 32 hours/week for a full quarter.
Company can‘t abuse part-timers –15% limit on the number of part-time employees.
Every dealer has the option to go full-time – it’s the dealer’s choice.
Seniority protected during medical leaves, including leaves in excess of 1 year. | |

Choice of HMO or Blue Cross/ Blue Shield.
Casino pays full premium for HMO plan for current employees with one year of service. New hires eligible after 90 days, with minor premium share for first year.
No increases in co-pays or deductibles for next 4 years.
